Normally i like dewalt stuff but this bit is simply a bad design. This can cause the top of the rod to mushroom thereby also making it difficult to place a standard 5 8 ground rod clamp. The hammer drill or rotary hammer makes driving an 8 foot copper ground rod easy and fast.
